I think it came to me in a right time when I was questioning analytical approach to Ashtanga, certain rules, tradition, my place it all of it and the very thing which made me love the practice. Hi Glenn,

I didn’t have anyone in particular in mind. Anyone who is seeking the truth of their existence through the framework of their own organic intelligence and experience, rather than through the lens of a pre-established dogma would fit in that category, in my opinion. Some of the people I mentioned in the comment above, such as David Abram and Arne Naess, as well as people like James Lovelock and Yuval Harari are independent mystics in my mind, even though that is not how they are usually labelled.

My sentence in full was “Our society today has reached a point where robots are literally taking over and the earth has reached its capacity for exploitation and so I would agree that now is the time to go backwards in a sense, to the basics of living in harmony with the earth”. I mean by this, that we need to live more simply in harmony with nature.
