Would be delightful to read an article where you share your insights and highlight where the perspectives merge and how they relate to ashtanga practice.

Hi Evgeny,
That's wonderful to hear. It is fulfilling for me to know that presenting my ideas and perceptions in writing can have this kind of effect and resonance for people. Thank you for telling me!

Dear Iain, thank you from the heart for sharing your views. They resonate with something deep inside, something unuttered, but yet present in a seed form. Reading your article had an effect of pulling that inner seed to a higher level of awareness and gave inspiration to further examine this topic within my own context.
I don't have much to contribute, but in the spirit of this article feel the necessity of expressing my gratitude.

Hi Ben. Thanks for reading the articles, and I am glad they resonate with you! A big part of what I attempt to share is the removal of the objectified view of nature that we humans have adopted over the last few thousand years. My own spiritual path is that of immersion into nature as a participating subject, rather than a removed object.

dear iain, i remember seeing a video of you a couple of years ago, explaining a jump through with straight legs. that looked so smooth. and now i find this text and i resonate so deeply. i don't even remember what brought me to your page today, but i'm glad i found you again. this wider understanding of relatedness feels so right. i know moments of total communion with a living world around. peak experiences on psychedelics but i brought it with me. one thought i found especially eye-opening here was this lead that language determines greatly how we relate to the world. this analogy that we burn food like a combustion engine. when i read this the scales fell from my eyes. i have to admit this was sitting pretty deeply in my system and now i see more clearly. of course what we ingest becomes part of us. i mean of course but this little word "burn" makes it hard to grasp what really happens. it's rather an exchange. and endless intercourse. thank you. looking forward to read more from you.

In reply to <a href="https://spaciousyoga.com/brahmacharya-exploring-relationship-from-an-animist-and-systems-perspective/#comment-201">Baxter</a>.

Hi Baxter. I'm not sure where you gleaned your expertise in Buddhism, but derivatives of the term "brahama" (including "brahmacharya") are used extensively in the Pali canon, as well as in contemporary Buddhist discourse. In the Buddhist cosmology there are 31 planes of existence, 20 of which are known as "brahmanic planes" and inhabited by beings known as "brahmas". These planes are accessed through development of various stages of jhana (which are analagous to Pantanjali's stages of samadhi). In the canon, the Buddha claims to have taught the technique to attain nibbana to many bramanic beings.

Regarding your other two points, you are of course welcome to hold your eloquently expressed opinions and interpretations.
